Anyone run one of these? Looking to dip my toes into .300 BO and figured this could be a low risk, cheap option. I do plan on running it suppressed. I've been thinking about the BCM upper, but after tax and shipping it's a little over $900. That said, I'd rather spend $900 for something that's gonna work than $180 for something that's gonna just be problems. So I'm just trying to hear some first hand experience. Thanks

| I got a similar PSA 300blk upper years back and it devours anything I have fed it. I do want to get a different handguard but have not because if I am going to do that I should just build one from scratch and have two 300blk setups. I think my next 300blk will be a 10.x~ length but overall my PSA one I picked up because it was on sale cheap and it has just run anything I throw in it. I have shot probably 20 different loads through it from supers to subs and it has run like a type writer. |

Since you plan on running it suppressed build your own. I bought mine as a cheap host, but the first thing you do is swap out the gas block and muzzle device. The handguard is low profile and i use clamp on gas blocks so i lost an mlok slot right where i needed it. Eventually I'm going to replace the bbl and handguard. |

I've tried a couple of different types of clamp-ons (I prefer those) and they just barely touch the rail (which I hate). |

It doesn't touch the rail. But it prevents me from installing an end stop all the way at the end of the rail. And with a handguard that short you're really limited. Mine is on an SBR so i could mount a VFG. But that just makes it bigger and small is the point. |
