Pure sexy.

$1,099 for FDE. Dang, I ordered a black one last week before finding out this was coming. Man I hope my black one has the enhanced trigger guard and grip shown here.

Still holding out for a pinned and welded rifle version in FDE.

Dang. Every new color has the enhanced trigger guard and better grip? I ordered black 24 hours too early.

Sometimes PSA’s pricing confuses me, right now the upper and lower can be purchased separate for almost $100 less than buying the complete gun. |

View Quote Jman can answer better than I, but that is likely PSA passing the tax savings on to you. Complete rifles have an 11% (iirc) tax added on top. Buying them separately as parts doesn’t incur that tax. |

I made a preview for my comparison test (video making practice basically). Preview - Ultimate SHTF Gun Comparison Test: JAKL, FM15, BRN180S, P556, Galil Ace, Bren 2, M85NP |

How did you install an adjustable gas block on it? That'd be a huge help for mine. Was pretty unimpressed with the gasout with it suppressed. Mine has had some teething problems through the first 200 (lots of short stroking on brass) that seem to be smoothing out, but the charging action is still super gritty/coarse. Compared to a BRN its night and day. Is that your experience as well? TIA! |

Looking forward to the comparison vid
I should have my JAKL kit next sometime next week. I'm curious to see how it stacks up to the FM15. I'd have an 11" BREN 2 in the mix as well, I like everything about that gun except the grip... the fact it's not replaceable is the only thing that's kept me from buying one. I'm also not going to spend $350 for Haga's lower just to have grip I like, especially considering it's already a 2K gun |

Compared to a BRN its night and day. Is that your experience as well? TIA! You might try contacting FM. The new uppers are shipping with a 3 position AGB. This should pin in place of the existing GB. HOWEVER, I choked off my gas considerably, one of the 3 positions might be better than nothing but still not well gassed IMHO.. No teething issues with mine, other than a few failures to lock open when adjusting the new GB It's not choked. I probably have about 700rds thru it now. As for charging, yep mine was gritty as well. pull the HG, clean it and the CH rod. I used oil at first, it was better but still not great. cleaning off the oil and using dry lube did the trick. Also, if you're not already, lube the recoil spring. Between these two, charging is MUCH smoother. If you have any other FM15 related questions, please feel free to PM. I'll probably use a dry lube on the charging sliding bits for the JAKL as well. I'll also lube the recoil spring.. |

Honestly though if you got an ar15 AGB to work, I might just buy a superlative bleedoff for it. That'd be a hell of a combo. Thanks for the info! |

I should have stuck with anodized black....
This FDE is not like any other shade of FDE I've seen. Looks more mustard brown to me. Mine has some shiny spots where the coating is missing so no anodizing underneath from the looks of it. Overall, the "FDE" finish is disappointing. As long as it shoots good, I'll deal with my poor finish choice |
