I have a couple of A1 uppers that I want to build as 5.56 SBR uppers. I am wanting a light weight stainless barrel pencil profile with .625 gas block journal. prefer 11.5 or 14.5 length. Basically looking to do A1 upper, A1 FSB, and old skinny carbine handguards, with a stainless barrel. Is it unlikely I'll find such an animal even if I go with a .750 FSB? No Fluting, no funky cuts & profiles , just a basic pencil cut without any crazy laser cut company branding all over it. Barrel twist 1/7, 1/8, or 1/12 would be fine. Or give me alternative ideas for utilizing my A1 uppers for my SBR. I've also contemplated a 9mm upper. I would consider a thicker profile, but still stainless, and still with an A1/A2 FSB. |
