I need something for 10.3” and 11.5”. I’m thinking red dot. I have a Aimpoint pro. It does well but I can’t see it in midday light. Will a magnifier help? I don’t have anything in primary arms optics and do want to try that brand. Otherwise I have the aimpoint dot and I have several vortex. What else can I look for; I’m stuck with aging eyes lots of laughs. I have lvpo’s. They work too but I’m thinking the answer is red dots. Please school me |
Are you shooting in a limestone quarry or the tundra? If you can't see an Aimpoint PRO's dot, you're not going to be able to see any other. Mine are super bright- as in no problem shooting in bright sunlight with plenty of snow. New battery? I've never seen a Vortex or PA dot that would compare. |

| I have multiple aimpoint pros and they work fine in full sun on mid range settings I frequently use out to 175 yards without issues (that's as far as I can shoot outback). I've recently bought a couple holosun aro's one gold one red and they are gtg so far as a cheaper option than the aimpoint pro. |

Works well with magnifier. Took it out to 600 yards on steel one time. Very satisfying. Thanks. I will give that a try. Yes, it does wash out at times. |
