Just wanted to get a few opinions on what Pre Ban USGI mags are worth these days. I have 39 I’m looking to sell and would like to price them accordingly. All mags are original with black followers…most have external date stamps. Brands are Center, LaBelle, Okay, Sanchez, Parsons and Adventure line. Condions are Like New Great Good Fair Thank you!!! |

It could be illegal to sell, even preban items. I'm living in Virginia, and the way the law is written is such that sales and import are illegal after July 1s, 2026. But in terms of you, outside of my state, you can't sell it to me legally and I can't go across state lines to buy new ones to bring back. |

They still have value, just less than they did years ago. As said, there aren’t any states left where they can be brought into the state and that be beneficial for anyone. They’re still worth their collector value, for anyone specifically wanting old USGI mags, which isn’t most people. So yeah about $10 each. If they were older 20rd USGI mags they’d be worth more than 30rd USGI mags. |

You’re a couple years late on selling them. Had you sold them before they closed the window on importation to MA, which is pretty much the only ban state that still allowed pre 94 mags to be imported, they were worth around $20 - $25 each. Now they’re worth less than new production mags because their Preban status no longer makes them special. Bottom line, nobody that can legally purchase over ten round mags wants worn out or even great condition black follower mags when they can buy brand new ones that meet the latest specs. |

The preban mags I had ,I sold for what it would cost me to replace. I got new mags, they got a mag that was supposed to be legal in that state. That’s just me. |

| That 'pre ban' train has already left the station years ago. I can buy new alum mag for 10 bux from Brownells so even in no ban states, why would anyone spend anymore than 5 bux for an old USGI mags? Plus most of us already have cases of them stashed away. Sorry to give you bad news but what you have is no longer marketable unless priced like a garage sale. |
