Hi-

This is my first post. If I'm not in the correct forum let me know.

I bought a 16" Colt "pencil" barrel from a guy on Armslist in 2021. It has a date of 06/05, which I presume to be June 2005. Also has a capital "D" and a white paint dot near the chamber end of barrel. No "F" mark on FSB. .625 dia at gas block.

Any way to determine the model(s) of rifle this barrel may have originally been assembled to? CR6920 or something? I'm not well versed on the models.

It's accurate enough, can hit 300 yd steel with iron sights, and I'm no shit hot marksman.

Thanks-
Tom

I would guess 6720 with an F marked front sight base.

Non F marked FSB (per the OP) would make it a 6520, unless my senility is getting the best of me?
