I typically run my dots barely visible at all to the eye and as small as possible, when they can be adjusted like on a T2. My rmr06 is older and is supposed to self adjust, but it's just took much of a fireball all the time. Is there some type of tape or coating I can apply that would dull the dot down? Think of it like having your t2 turned up full power all the time, which sucks.. |

Are you sure the RMR is remaining in manual mode when it blooms. I found this on Trijicon website showing RMR goes back to auto adjust mode after 16.5 hours. On the old Trijicon reflex sights that used tritium and fiber optics to power the dot people would cover the fiber optic panel to keep the dot from blooming in bright conditions. I don’t know if the RMR has a light sensor you could cover to restrict the dot intensity. I cut and pasted this info from Trijicon’s sight.
