Ah, another poverty pony... with Geissele slapped on. An Anderson with a URGI on top. Why the crappy lower with Geissele upper and parts? $100 to $150 more and no one would question it. Even an Aero lower. I assume you bought the URGI complete, although the handguard anodizing is incorrect, looks like paint. (I have 3 anodized Super Duty rifles) Trigger choice is a little weird, but acceptable. If you like that I have $$$$ Sigs but I don't use their electro optics. Maybe someday they will build reliable red dots, but for now the lowest reputational RDS I would bet my life on is an Aimpoint Pro or Duty. The MRO would be third. At least you didn't go super cheap. I would upgrade the optic first. No you don't need a fricking tax stamp. The stamp limits you from taking it across state lines legally without notifying the nanny. Overall good effort! If it's a real URGI complete upper. |

If it's a real URGI complete upper. A lower is a lower is a lower. If it’s in spec and works, who cares? It will literally make zero difference than if it was on a G$ lower. As for the Romeo 7S, they are surprisingly durable and good to go. Been using one for years without issue. |

OP, don't sweat it (as I'm pulling put my soapbox) Look, if I posted pics of my stuff people would love the paint jobs (they really are damn good), but will mercilessly flame me for the parts I have. BCM stock, and 2 SBA3s on 10.5" pistols. I put UTG safety selectors on all (no, really, they are far smoother than the Radian I replaced), Vortex Sparc solar red dot on the pistols, a Swampfox Liberator with 3x magnifier on a 10.5" with a 1.5" KVP extender (AT3 didnt make an exact handguard for the barrel I have), and another 16" Radical firearms with a JPCS and Rubber City adjustable gas key, with a Primary Arms 1-6 LPVO on the other. One has an AT3 Tactical upper and handguard and the other just their handguard. Yes, because they're well finished with no burs or sharp edges and the finish is consistent and no blemishes. And they're stiff (enough), like an 80 yr old man who upped his dosage of blue pills so he could make it til noon the next day. ![]() By standards here and Reddit, I've got "low end" stuff, and Im OK with that. As I posted yesterday, nearly everyone uses the clich stance that unless your kit can withstand Operation Red Wing, it's crap... and what were you thinking When you bought ____? Then they toss out the "Buy once cry once" (they love that phrase) to add further shame. Again, whatever. I'd bet my money that not one skirmish has broken out in their cul-de-sacs since, well, ever. Does one really need a $5K+ gun, $450 in UF Pro pants and combat shirt, requisite Soloman boots, and possibly $12K+ for helmet/ nods, to be effective? They'd have you believe that and that's what's sad. Not everyone can pony up for those things, nor do they need to to enjoy shooting and maybe defend their families and those who can't defend themselves. All I know is that I wouldn't want to be standing on the non-buttstock end my systems, "crap" as they are. You know, every time pull the trigger they go bang, reliably and smoothly. Shocking, I know. OP, upgrade parts when you can and buy good stuff when you do, but good on you for a build that'll work until you want different stuff. More importantly, buy ammo and practice, and NOT just while standing at the bench, because threats will move, and you should, too. Lastly, dude, thank you being one of the tribe! See you out there. |

I agree with your post but aside from the optic, OP has a very high end build by any reasonable persons standards. |

Yes a LPVO 1-6x on a 11.5 because this is going to be my jack-of-all-trades and the extra magnification allows me to stretch it out a bit further more accurately. I would like to hear your thoughts on this. https://youtube.com/shorts/a6fJNnWB014?si=9FClUySYc6_wOs4q I have the 1-8 on my 11.5. I like it. Lot of G on mine too. Attached File |

| An in-spec lower is an in-spec lower. Did you build it to impress strangers on the internet or build it to shoot? I just picked up a $34 anderson lower. So far it has gone bang everytime I pulled the trigger, just like my other lowers that cost 3-4 times more. I plan to that lower as much as possible, time will tell. |

There's a story behind that lower that I'm not willing to share just yet... however I build it not only to shoot but also to be my everything... cqb, training, hunting, self defence... impressing strangers on the internet is just an unintended bonus... I've seen way to many people getting fancy lowers just to put budgets upper and airsoft gear on it. I wanted to do the opposite. Get a milspec lower and allocate the rest for a quality upper ammo and training. |

It helps with shot placement for those hunting shots. |

I've worked on and/or built more then my fair share of lowers from all of the major brands and many of the smaller brands too and the Anderson lowers I've seen were far and away the shittiest I've seen. Their LPK's are even worse. I'd love to support them as they're local to me but fuck that. Friends don't let friends buy anything from Anderson. The whole "they work" argument is lame. It's like saying that fucking some nasty 300lb bitch with a shaved head, hairy arm pits that hasn't showered in a month is ok because "its still pussy" and "I haven't read any stories of her giving anybody an STD"

I do agree about their LPKs specifically the triggers. |

I have some Texas produced/themed lowers because that's what I like, but as long as they're in-spec that's what counts. Lots of people here have used and like Sig RDS with no problems. Unless the OP is kicking doors I think he'll be just fine. As far as "Ah, another poverty pony... with Geissele slapped on." ![]() Looks good to me OP. Welcome aboard. |

For those of you who find the "Poverty Pony" out of place or funny, let me fill you in... I was a victim of a robbery where they stole hundreds of dollars worth of tools gears and yes...my guns. (It's still under investigation) all they left was that Anderson lower and some spare parts... I had not only Andersons but Radians, Geissele, Spikes Tactical, YHM, Aero Precision, Sharp Bros.. and others. However all that's gone and I had to start all over. I'm alive and that's a blessing. God's giving me another shot to rebuild and left me with that Anderson lower to start all over so yeah. That lower might be a Poverty Pony, but that's my Starting point 2.0, a clear reminder of all I had and a focus point for the future. The lower is cheap in price, but to me is priceless. |
