Since my M4 post wasn't technically correct for this subforum, here's an actual A2 build. I don't think I've posted it here before? 14.5 inch mid length, A2 upper, A1 length Cav Arms stocks, Brownells Ar10 Portuguese handguards and a faux kinda sorta Portuguese rattle can camo. I have a midlength rifle I don’t even use, I also have an A2 upper, skinny middy handguards and a CAR stock in the parts bin.

Finally really had a chance to run the middy build. Happy to report it works great. Minor sight adjustment needed but that was a quick fix. The mid length gas system and rifle buffer seem to make for a very smooth shooting carbine.

I ended up finding a set on Gunbroker. This was last year at some point I guess now when I did that build.
