[Last Edit: tortilla-flats]
Need a 9mm blowback barrel cut from 16" to 10" and threaded (I would run a silencer probably).

Any recommendations?

I'd touch base with JT at Retro Arms Works first personally.

Definitely.

Shoot him an email and double check what services he is currently offering.

The man is busier than a cat covering shit most of the time.

I don't know how he does what he does....

Absolutely this.  Top notch work, stupid fast service.  Concur on having no idea how he does it.

Based on a vast amount of reading?  ADCO or Retro Arms Works.  I have no personal experience with either----but I hear good things.

When I posted there were zero responses.  In the time it took me to post my response?  (Like a minute?)  Look at the people chiming in for JT at Retro.

If Retro Arms will do it, I'd send it there 11 times out of 10.

What do the feed ramps look like? I'd be talking to Rudy at Macon Armory.

ADCO doesn't cut barrels anymore or I wouldn't have asked.

John won't cut any barrels other than 5.56. That's what he told me when I needed my 300blk chopped. I used ADCO.

An RDB barrel. Don't think it needs Rudy's feed ramp treatment. Not sure if he would cut it.

I'd still ask the man straight up rather than guess.

I'll check again. Maybe he re-hired that position? The guy he originally had doing it passed away a few years back.

This is why it's important to ask the source firsthand.

John at RA.

I would mail him a barrel to cut on Monday and have it back on Thursday. I'd just throw cash in an envelope ad tell him what i wanted. Can't recommend him enough.

Don't need any work right now (I have used you in the past), but jeez about your two full-time guys. That's rough.
