Based on my google search it looks like there are several to choose from. But most are from places I have never heard of but of course there are lots of places I've never heard of. It don't make them bad Is there one that you think is better than the others? Maybe a different material or different finish? Especially given corrosive ammo I would like it to be chromed. Thanks. |
| I used a Super Bolt from AR Performance (no longer selling 7.62 x 39 SBs) and a Wolff extra power hammer spring on mine and have never had a misfire. I “think” the 7.62x39 Super Bolt had the shaved tail as mentioned and I have only used a standard m16 firing pin with the large collar. If I were doing another I’d do what was mentioned, shave .002” at a time off the tail until no more misfires. |

Some bolts have an internal shoulder so removing material off the tail won't work. The LMT bolts are an example of that. I have had good luck with the Red X and Black Rifle Arms extended FP's. I also have NOT had to use extra power hammer springs when using those FP's.
