The rivet is a 1/8 inch tubular rivet, you need one of these:

The Hanson is the same thing. Don’t forget to order the squeezer die also. Works just fine with a hammer.

Not sure about the validity of that statement other than I read it somewhere. In addition to the rivet tool they use to make a great concentricity gauge for both 5.56 and 30 cal, they are also discontinued, glad to have gotten mine. I took a motorcycle chain breaker and modified it to work with my Schuster rivet tool, works as a press and makes perfect factory looking rivets with no damage to the head scratching it up. |

Same as a new one - on top of the squeezer die. That's where the extra pair of hands comes in...handy... They hold the upper & I keep the work centered. |
