Looking to add a sling to my AR build. Rear mount would be QD swivel (never used these before) under the buffer tube. Running an SB Tactical PDWHB brace, so has the cups built in. Front could be a QD as well. There is a cup in the side of the rail near the barrel nut (Daniel Defense rail), or if can add some kind of connection point further out either on the picatinny rail on top, or on the M-Lok slots on the side. Considering the WPS Bungie sling, and using QDs for both connections points. Looking for a good quality sling for general purpose. Thanks! |

| I’m all in on Edgar Sherman slings. I tried the WPS sling and wanted to like it, but could never get it set up just right. If it was tight enough to be slung, it was too tight for shooting. If I set it up for shooting, it was sloppy when slung. They’ve since come out with a quick adjust sling but it eliminates the Jedi buckle which is the best feature of the WPS sling. |

I've tried a bunch, and Viking Tactics padded is my favorite by far. I just looked at the WPS sling. That's pretty much every bad sling idea rolled into one package: Springy, no quick adjust, comes apart when it gets pulled on hard.

Ill be honest the best sling I have owned and used so far is the Warrior Poet Sling. Its pricy but well worth it. I had it bookmarked for a year and just couldn't pull the trigger on paying that much for it, but ended up doing it, and it was well worth it. Followed up by the The Vickers sling and the Edgar Sherman sling. |
| I have Magpul, BFG padded and V-Tac padded. The vickers Bfg is nice and neat with no hanging straps but honestly, I could live happily with just v-tac slings on everything. They just work. |

Hey, I highly recommend Huberwerks. I got a non padded sling from them. I think their quick adjust system with the cord is better than most other like Magpul. I had to kind of Frankenstein mine, but for reasons that don't apply to 95% of people lol. Owner seems like a solid guy and i know, from experience, he stands behind his products. Only thing I would suggest is go with the padded one. This applies to any slings, though. I went without a pad to save on bulk and regret it. Anyways, the website is https://www.huberwerksusa.com/ |
