Have a 4-5 year old surefire M600DF w/ KE2DF head.  Sent it back twice for flickering issues.   Sending it back again.   The surefire rep said they have been fixed and there is a new “brass contact” on the head itself.

Can anyone confirm these new heads are actually fixed and it’s not crap again?   It appears to be the same head that’s currently on the scout light pro.

I had an issue with my light, it would also flicker when I would shoot my AR.

I reached out to SureFire CS and they told me it was most likely the battery (USB rechargeable)....  They sent me a replacement and I have not had an issue since.

I hope this helps.

Just sent in my 640 DF and got one back with the “brass cap”. Definitely was not on there before. It seems to work much better than the old one, even with the tape switch.

I thought they RCA'd the flickering to grease on the tailcap spring?
