Anyone using one of the cheap $30 tennis bags for a disassembled 16.1" AR? not really wanting to drop the $ on the tacticool bags that look like racquet cases. |

Before ponying up for a tacticool bag, I tried a regular tennis racket bag for one of my SBRs, and a week later I found a nice chunk missing from the top of my T2. |

Get a sheet of stiff-ish foam and cut it to fit the bag and protect the rifle. |

As long as it fits, then yeah. I seen some folks carrying a tool box with the rifle broken down in it. I actually used a golf bag a few times. My mom actually bought me this Eberlestock backpack for Christmas last year and I've been using it up until now. It could fit a 14.5 inch broken down AR15 rifle easily. I'm not sure of the model but it doesn't look like it could fit a rifle but it can. It is much better than the other bags I used. The thing I'm worried about is sometimes is someone identifying the bag and seeing me at some other place. I go to this gym and one of the range workers is there too and I'm just worried one day the person will see me with a bag I brought to the range, and think automatically I'm up to no good even though I'm bringing in clothes to change. So I'd like to have a specific "gun" bag just in case and not actual sports bag that could be used elsewhere. |

I do not know what bag to get. Recently (as in last 6 months) I saw a fat guy wearing cargo shorts carrying a tennis racket bag. Of course he could be playing tennis, but he wasn’t selling the illusion that there was a tennis racket in the bag. The tennis bag looked very out of place. I also suppose I was the only one to notice, but maybe not. |

Maybe a Wilson sticker on the back glass of your vehicle and a tube of tennis’s balls. Then in your backpack a big tall Gatorade water bottle. And wife/Gf in short tennis skirt.

Where are you carrying it: Tennis courts> GTG, taking it to lunch, 'hey honey, that guy is carrying a tennis racket into Chipotle, that's odd...'. Leaving it in the car, still not a great theft deterrent, carrying from house to car, likely OK (boy, Bob sure does play a lot of tennis, I mean like EVERYDAY). I don't think covert carry case is a one size fits all, maybe have a few different types? |

Attached File All of these will fit in this bag. Some tighter than others. Funny thing is my hellion and Tavor won’t. |
