Finally got my stamp back yesterday and was able to put a few rounds through the gun.

Gripod FTW  it'll be switched out for a TD VFG when I get around to ordering one. Although I actually like the gripod when using the magnifier, if only it wasn't so damn big.

Did a quick zeroing before I head to the range tomorrow and actually dial it in. Top and bottom groups are from 50 yds and the 4 middle hits are just from finishing off the mag at 5yds. Not the best groups but i'll see what I can get out of it at the range tomorrow.  " />

Anyone left wanting with a 14.5" 5.56 needs to seek a different caliber. Frankly, the only "practical" argument I've ever heard in favor of going beyond 14.5 inches with a 5.56 is from the guys who like to turn prairie dogs into pink mist. And that being considered a practical advantage is surely up for debate.

ETA - I had a like new spare 2 MOA T1 in LaRue tall QD mount I would've offered you on the cheap earlier, but someone finally came through with a Western Sport 10.3" DD barrel/Mk12 GB combo this afternoon. Will soon have my fourth CQBR complete, and that T1 will be going on top. |

I prefer waffles, CARs and MOEs, depending on the rifle. |
