So, I received the 10.75 inch rail from Noveske, B-Line of course, and scored a Chainsaw upper from the local shop. Installed a Geissele 11.5 inch barrel that I had from another build that I parted out. The only black anodized lower I have that is a registered SBR is this Aero, but I am looking for one of the N4 lowers like the one pictured above. Tried checking Noveske's website over the weekend for a deal on one, but maybe I was too late since all lowers were out of stock. Fitment between the upper and lower is solid and the rail feels really good in the hand, similar to a MK16, but lighter. Still need to get a light for this thing, but it shoots good.

I may just Form 1 my other LMT Defender lower and just use that. |

Any chance Noveske sells the 11.5 Midlength barrel separately? I don't want to buy the whole upper.

Does the 11.5 mid need to be suppressed to cycle?

If you shot it, you would know, that PMC is not junk. The X-TAC line is as good, or better, than the other mil grade equivalent production. |

It is a sin to get a non noveske barrel and put it on a noveske upper and use a noveske rail. The noveske barrel is what makes it a noveske in my book.

No smoke to the face at all. A good buy if I say so myself. |

Thanks for sharing! 11.5 mid gas has me hooked….I noticed I stay in the A zone a lot more than I did with the carbine gas 11.5 I had. Got to shoot it to believe it. |

Picked up a 14.5” CHF switch block over Noveske’s last sale, what handguards are people running with midlength switch blocks? I’m looking for something in the 11.5-11.7” range to use with an AEM5 and not afraid of having someone like chop boss make a cut out. My ideas right now are a Larue 12” quad cut back or PRI tube with a pocket cut out the top.
