I noticed that some of the Noveske lowers are markes "safe & fire" while others are "safe & semi".
What's up with that? |

Noveske 16" SS Recon barrel + N4 upper
http://imgur.com/oJccK.jpg http://i.imgur.com/89hKC.jpg I wanted to also add that they have great customer service. When I was putting the rifle together I couldn't get my gas block pin in straight. I called Noveske with the intent of purchasing a new gas block thinking I messed mine up. The lady insisted that I talked to one of their gunsmith first who then offered to fix the issue for me free of charge if I wanted to ship the upper + barrel back to them. The gunsmith then spent a good 20 minutes patiently answering any questions/concerns I had regarding assembly and event sent me a new gas block and gas tube pin free of charge. He then reminded me that if I was uncomfortable with any step of the process that his offer to fix it for free was good any time. Great experience and they definitely will get my business again. I only regret not remembering their names since its been a few weeks :( |

Thanks, Stick, that means a lot coming from you. I sold the CTR and picked up an IMOD––really digging the VLTOR stock. I got a good offer on my EOTech so I sold it and picked up a backup handgun (edit: Glock 26 ). This is how it sits now. Still undecided on the optic, so it's only irons for now (it's really making me want to give the Centurion Diopters a shot). |

OMFG my upper is in the mail and the wait is killing me! Checking out this thread was a mistake. Sooooooo happy I went Noveske. I've been called a gucci shooter cause I have a Colt AR. Yup.

Sorta related to thread, sorta unrelated.
How hard would it be to get a job down at Noveske? |

One lower receiver, two upper halves...one with a chrome lined 14.5" barrel for heavy shooting and one with a stainless 18" barrel for sniper work...or in my case, target shooting. :-)
Custom "parkerized" gray/black color (KG Gun Kote) finish done by Noveske. Here is it is with the 14.5" middy (chrome lined barrel) w/VIS & switchblock, KG black on the barrel, Noveske branded BUIS, Vortex SPARC red dot (now removed...will be replaced by a 1-4x optic, or ACOG, if I can ever decide which). http://i928.photobucket.com/albums/ad128/ACReptiles/Noveske/CL-3.jpg Here it is with the SPR upper. 18" SPR w/VIS receiver, Noveske branded AD Recon QD mount, optic is a Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x with illuminated reticle. As you might guess by the large scope, it's really a paper puncher made to look like an SPR. http://i928.photobucket.com/albums/ad128/ACReptiles/Noveske/SPR-2.jpg And an iphone pic looking through the scope... http://i928.photobucket.com/albums/ad128/ACReptiles/Noveske/NoveskeSPR-Scope.jpg |

Not trying to be a dick, but some might find your post misleading and think that it would have the KAC proprietary gas system, bolt, or barrel. |

Noveske didn't build what I was looking for so I did. I used Noveske parts for the upper, lower, BCG, CH, 18" barrel, and Switchblock. r. Groups average .75 MOA with MK262 and I am getting 2850 FPS. |
