Did anybody had to wait so long for a Noveske upper ??

Sometimes you wait a week, sometimes you wait months.

Hey, it's better than with Wild West Guns where you can wait a year or more and they treat you like dog snot if you call and ask . . .

Quality does take time.

Would you guys mind posting you cases that you use to hold your beautiful Noveske rifles in?  I am trying to do some research and decide what to get for my Lo-Profile Recce.  Of coarse rifle in the cases are always nice too!

Thanks!

Any N4 LIGHT RECCE BASIC 16 or N4 LIGHT CARBINE BASIC pics showing the barrel contour under the plastic handguard?  I'd like to see the whole barrel is contoured.

The rig in the picture above is a custom made rig. The rig was made to my specs by a long time associate / custom gear maker who is no longer in the gear buisness.

Then you blow because I was just gonna ask the same exact thing.  I think you need to get your friend back in the business because that looks exactly like what I want.  Nice Rig!!

Mind providing the name of the maker so those of us interested can keep our eyes on EEs for some of his work?
thanks

So that's a no? If he was in business for any period of time there is still the possibility that other people may have some of his gear and end up selling it at some point.

Not really, as people who get quality custom kit usually dont let it go, they acquire more.  My guess is that anyone who owns some kit like that wont be selling it in the EE on this board, and Jeff probably doesn't want the former manufacturer being hounded via IM/email here and on other sites like he is being bothered here about who made his rig.

If you like it, get a machine and make one, or call a custom maker and describe what you are looking for.  Its not that big a deal.

Saved for my barrel being delivered.

I was not trying to imply that they should steal your vest - as most wouldn't know how to communicate the needs and specifics for that vest.  The Mav is a GREAT solution, so is the mini mav.
A 2 pc mav with 2 triple shingles, triple pistol pouch, x harness and hydro would serve close to the same, and you wouldn't have to pay custom prices.

When I get enough scratch saved up it will be a Leupold Mark 4 1.5-5X20 MR/T M2 with illuminated reticle.

Had Noveske build my 16 inch N4 Light Recce upper on a Vltor VIS rifle length monolithic upper and low profile gas block.

Stag lower with Rock River Arms lowers parts kit, Accuracy Speaks single stage trigger, Vltor buffer tube, Emod stock, GG&G light bipod, Larue optic mount and F.U.G. grip, Rock River Arms winter trigger guard, Magpul MIAD grip, Troy BUIS and Surefire rail covers.  Put a close-up of the rail covers in case anyone is thinking of getting them and curious what they look like.  I like them.

I have a YHM Quick Detach compensator/brake on it's way to use with one of their Phantom .308 cans I use on my .308.
