Yep - you did a FCD for me that I use with a RB in my Copperhead-K, and I also picked up a USGI Ambi from you that will be used with this Partisan. Fine work. |

For anyone that is contemplating safety mods, the youtube video below might be useful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00mQ2mfjqfU While the Partisan is not shown, he does explain in detail how the cassette style frt trigger and disconnect interface with various safety selectors in the AR15. His work is a bit crude, as he admits, but it is very easy to see and understand where metal may need to be removed, and where it needs to be, in order to have both semi and frt functions. |

There are always two sides to every story but Partisan (when asked about BHA) clearly states :  So did this vendor in question do a presale and then add the disclaimer? |

That's in line with my memory, but I don't have a screenshot of what the product page looked like when it originally went up or when I placed the order. But the order completion page on artakedowntool.com absolutely estimated delivery at or before Dec. 23. I distinctly remember that aspect because I made plans based on that time frame. This was reiterated in the order confirmation email I received: Attached File Maybe that vendor's triggers are in transit from Partisan. Maybe this was an honest mistake by artakedowntool.com on rollout. I don't know. What I do know is that I don't like having my card charged by a vendor who has no ability to ship on the timeline they provided, then being told I should set aside any concerns, because--in the vendor's estimation--it "will be worth it." For whom? |

well, what a completely uneventful first range trip...... My P Trigger is installed in my sbr lower that serves quite a few different uppers. Tested out with my 300 BLK Noveske short barrel. This barrel has a Noveske 556 Switch Block, with an adjustable Sharp's carrier. H buffer. The gas system is adjusted to run minimal gas, enough to run Super and Suppressed, on the Super side of the Switch Block. It was configured to run with a G trigger, correctly. The P Trigger went right in, no issues. I only ran about 50 rounds to check for gross functionality. Supers and Suppressed worked perfectly. Not near enough testing to know what I will eventually need for buffer weight, but good first start with just the H and carbine spring. The rate of fire was quite nice. No number, but not crazy fast. Compared to a RB in my MPX sbr, the trigger "slap" was much better. As to the safety selector, running in the field was not as "bad" as just the feeling on install and bench fiddling. Definite distinct (and audible) clicks, but entirely too easy to move past the semi and FRT positions (or off safe). And it has a sharp edge at the top outside radius area that is not very nice. I think as was noted in the other thread, the person who slipped this design change in at the last minute, is maybe not a gun person. The shallow clicks combined with a tall/fat body might make switching easier, but a proper selector does not need to be easy, as this is ultimately a safety in its first roll. Fine for the tailgate or bench, not my choice for a sling and carry. But this now a dead horse, that does not need further flogging. So all in all at this first blush, pretty impressed. Better than the RB? Functionally (politics aside), not until the safety gets sorted out, as well as the internal (to the receiver) factory cross pin j-hook style pin retention. For anyone awaiting their trigger, might want to rustle up a couple of T-10 Torx wrenches/bits. No wrenches in my trigger kit, nor note anywhere about size of wrenches needed for installation. You can buy a 50 dollar red dot sight that will come with the correct wrenches. That was a small swing and miss. Now off to the 22lr rabbit hole. My CMMG upper/barrel/collar configuration was a no go, or more correctly no trip with the old Ceiner kit FA trip bar. Was expecting that. |

Artakedowntool sent me a text when they received my order on 12/21. Nothing since. I replied to the to text cancel my order on 12/24. No reply. Used Google to find a contact email and sent a please cancel there on 12/28. Today (12/29) called about 3 pm. The phone was answered by a message. “The number bla, bla, bla is not available. Please leave a message.” So I did, then asked Visa to dispute the charge. @Partisan Did you guys actually approve artakedowntool.com? They seem like a scam. |

@Ben Is there any talk of developing an AR10 trigger? From my testing, I believe the the existing trigger cassette would work, so long as the BCG has the right shaped tail (as my Palmetto does), if the safety/timing trip were just increased in height/length by a tiny fraction. It might be as little as 0.1", I don't have the capability to test that precisely. |
