Yea this thing is crazy. Worth the 500$. Never weighed it with all of the beads inside but it was 10oz from the factory. 8oz without no beads and i'm suspecting 12oz with all the beads. Rifle length gas will work but you may have issues if its not generously ported. I still dont know how to upload videos and photos directly so no proofs for now.

Looks like it can't be inserted with an FRT in place. You would have to install thr fancy buffer first and add the FRT afterwards.

Interdasting.  I would like to see video of it actually being used compared with a standard buffer.  I find it a tad suspicious that the YouTube video has been there for three years w/o any other videos on it (that I could find).

Here's the 'Amphibian' setup of Kynshot Hydraulic buffer + A5 + Tubb flatwire spring.

580rpm and good controllability:

Not bad for around $200 vs $500 vapor ware.

I don't know man... The higher ROF looked like there was less movement, which mirrors my own observations with 16" ARs.

I think the higher ROF looks smoother / less visible bounce.

But in terms of controlling 3 and 6 round bursts, the higher ROF had a lot more climb / dispersion due to shoving harder at the beginning of the firing cycle. And ultimately 3-6rd controllability matters more then mag dumping.

At 25yd 3rd burst I had a lot more accidental headshots or rounds climbing off target with the 880rpm H2 then the 580rpm Hydraulic.

Hoping to go to the range tomorrow and testing out to 50yd standing, which will really tell the tale. That was basically worthless vs semi auto with the 880rpm, the first round would hit the center of the target and the other 2 rounds would be off somewhere in the carboard ether.

Not to mention that for $500 you’re stuck with an a1 or a2 stock.

Good point. Need to try one and see if it improves my bursts.
