| Just the question, what is it that you all use to see if screws or bolts have loosened on scopes, mounts, or other items? |

| Locktite on threads. Then a paint pen to mark bolt heads after torque. Diesel tractors constantly need checking on a schedule after tightening. My Firearms, locktite or rockset (location varies)usually keeps screws and nuts where they were torqued. If it's a bolt that's subject to stretch, they need to be checked. Paint markers work and can tell you if they unscrew, but not if they stretch. |
