So with the SS type FRT's to include MARC and Arc-Fire, what is the most common reason for the carrier to stick to the rear and not returning to battery? I know the quarter in the buffer trick and that worked for me with 2 quarters but I would like to see if I can eliminate that. I SBRed my Colt SP1 and didn't need the quarters in the buffer tube with the factory upper but my new upper is having this issue. This gun is equipped with a MARC and factory fire control group. |

That is what I was thinking it would be. I will take out a little material in that area and see if that works. Thanks for the replies everyone. I must be lucky with my frt's. Out of 14 rifles with Arc-Fire, MARCs and one SS, this is the first one that has had this problem.  |

So I had chance to mess with the upper this evening and it didn't take much to get the clearance that it needed. The lever hits more to the right side of the receiver at auto sear cut radius area. On the inside where the BCG rides. So I filed at an angle more to the inside of the receiver. Really didn't take that much off of the small flat edge of the auto sear clearance cut. Basically left all of the area that a Arizona Regulator would rest against even though that's not what i'm using right now. |
