No binary trigger personal experience, but IIRC from reading about this, you'll also need the CMMG auto sear trip and an anti-bounce weight (ABW) from any of several sources or DIY; or you would have to perform the so-called "ball-detent mod" which is a spring loaded detent that mitigates bolt bounce without adding reciprocating mass to the overall system.
What I do have is personal experience shooting a dedicated CMMG 4.5" bbl. .22LR upper on an M16 lower (with CMMG trip and ABWs from CMMG, Ciener, and DIY, but I have not yet tried borebuddy - who is another ABW vendor that other ARFCOMMERs have used). That 4.5" bbl. experience prompted me to build another CMMG .22LR upper, but with a 9" bbl. The 4.5" bbl. was too short for my taste. Support hand gets too close to the muzzle, and I don't have a full auto rated suppressor as a number of shooters who use the 4.5" bbl. do.
Hopefully, others with experience will share and/or correct my comments.
MHO, YMMV, etc. Best of luck. Be well.
ETA: From what I have read, the Ciener sear trip is not compatible with the CMMG system. You might also run across Spike's Tactical sear trips and ABWs from 10-12 years ago. The ABW should be okay, but the trip is of the same pattern as Ciener so is not likely to be compatible.
