| Howdy folks! Hopefully I'm posting in the right forum. I just picked up a really nice and very early Z-M Weapons LR-300 upper receiver kit. Its so old I'm pretty sure the upper receiver rail is a Weaver type, not Picatinny. I thought I'd see if there were any known resources out there for these niche little pieces of oddball AR-15 history. Specifically I'm looking to see if anyone has already done the legwork on modeling a tri-rail gas block adapter. I intend to start prototyping one in January but it would save a lot of work if a model already exists. I'd also like to see if the A2 foregrips they sometimes came with were just standard A2 grips that were cut down, or if they were some specially molded part. Lastly, I'm hoping someone knows the make/model of the original rear sight that came on the early rifles before they started to come with the YHM-643K. Appreciate any insights folks here might have. |
