i have a couple 5 rd 5.56 mags for a 84s , ive seen a couple vids on cutting the followers to enable the mags to accept 10 rds , however none of the videos actually show them feeding properly afterwards , i cant get past the thought that they made the followers that big to perhaps prevent follower tilt causing feed issues has anyone done this and what was your experience as far as performance afterwards , thanks in advance |

| Years ago I bought some 6.5 Grendel magazines advertised as 17 rounds. They only held 15 rounds so I called the vendor and they said to return them. They cut the legs on the followers down a bit so they held 17 rounds. I figured if they did that Micky mouse of a job "fixing" the problem I wasn't going to screw with them. Oddly, the magazines worked just fine for many years. |
