Why not, this is a Winchester 94 in 30-30. It has a Bradly cheek rest, Turnbull Manufacturing red dot mount with a Burris red dot, and a Magpul sling for good measure. (sorry for the sidways pic)

New 1895 Trapper.  I swapped the stocks for walnut, swapped the Skinner sights for XS, changed the few blued factory parts to nickel parts, swapped the factory big loop for a Ranger Point Precision medium loop, and mounted a Leupold FX-II Scout.  I'm diggin' it.

I got mine from MGW.  They have the factory Marlin set along with any other factory 1895 part you could possibly want.  You can also get them from Midway, EBay, Boyd's... several other places.

Thanks!  When I went looking a few years ago, I could not find a thing in Walnut.  Supposedly the factory had stopped production.  Good to see they are back making them.

How is the wood to metal fit on the stock?  The metal on the new Marlins I looked at was almost proud of the wood.

Winchester 1886 Saddle-Ring Carbine.

Made in 1905.

45/90 Winchester.

Nice bore (little dark) - no rust or pitting - nice wood with one small crack in the forend and some "engraving" ("100 pct" in dots).

Rear sight is not correct - correct carbine sight located and ordered.

Fairly rare.

"Cody Letter" sent for.

Pretty nice old gun .............

I think this thread needs some action.

Pair of my 1895s. 1895 GBL and 1895GS
Both 2009 (Serials Start with 91)  Models made in North Haven CT
Stamping of the JM on the GS is fairly crisp.  The stamping on the GBL is sloppy, but something was stamped but I can’t make it out.

Ordered some new Diamond D Custom leather for the GBL today.  That was NOT a cheap date.

I’ve owned this GS since new.  Purchased at Cabela’s

Just adding a comment after going back a few pages.

The standard Marlin front sight hood...which I lost on the first shot...could use a couple of drops of LocTite BLUE to keep it fixed.
Marlin sent me a new hood and it stayed on until I did my latest modifications to the 1895.

Just a 39a, but this one is mine.  Been searching for a reasonably priced one for about 13 years, and finally hit the point where I had the money and a rifle was available.  Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, though.

My 1873 Winchester.  Made circa 1884.  Sometime in the past, it was re-barreled and re-blued, still in the original .38-40.  The OG 10mm.  When I got it, I had my smith cut it to 20".  Handles great.

I got it for used Rossi $$.
