10.3 barrel with 8 inch rail?

I have a 10.3 barrel. How much of the gas block would an 8 inch BCM rail cover?

Thx. It would be nice if I could see a picture of the combo I’m considering though instead of just an image with measurements.

Based on the linked thread, you have a bit of gas block passed the end of the rail. BCM says the 8" is 8.14" to the end of the flare. However, I went ahead and built it in gunstruction...
