I am anticipating new thicker profile 17S barrels. If you search back at my posts over the past ten years, the lack of a shoulder on the muzzle end of the 17S’s barrel is a huge issue for the majority of suppressor adapters out there. Very few make flash hiders or muzzle brakes that index to the muzzle end and not the shoulder. I eventually had to have Surefire work on my 17S barrel to get it turned down and timed correctly, short of having a gunsmith pin/weld the thing on. Let’s hope the new ones work out well for all of us. |
