When I was 16 in 78 I saved up and bought a mdl 94 30-30. Killed a lot of deer with it and I stupidly sold it years ago, but it had a Lyman sight on it just like that.
Right now, an excellent condition post WWII / pre 64 Model 94 carbine in .30-30 will sell for between $1000-$1100. In very good condition it’s worth around $800-$900.
If it’s in true mint condition then you could expect to pay $1500-$1700.

Around where I live (NW Missouri) that'd be a bargain, regardless of caliber.
I passed on it, the guy figured out what he had from other offers and he jacked the price up. Wasn't "mint" but dang close to it, I am not sure it has ever been fired. Couple of dings in the butt stock, nothing major though.
