Has anyone seen one? All I have seen are direct thread. From an engineering perspective does anyone know if these threads just aren’t strong enough in polymer? |
I printed the threaded section of the FTN.5 hub mount on my Qidi Plus 4 with 0.6mm nozzle and Siraya Tech PPA-CF filament and my SilencerCo titanium mount screwed right in. I do not think this will be likely to handle the pressure of rifle cartridges, though, but I base that on nothing factual at this point.
