Would any one be interested in this handguard?
 As i could make the keymod handguard, anyone with other altrd handguard i can borrow, as i think i could make a prototype faster. |

If someone has Gunslinger’s contact info, please let me know. I have a group that may be interested in making these and need 3D scan files. I do have someone willing to lend a 10” handguard, but a setup fee is costly and since someone has 3D scans, this would save a lot of time and money. If we want to make this happen, we should work better as a collective group rather than scattered. Who would be in for a Facebook group to get this going and keep with consistent updates?

Sheffield Tactical by chance? They used to make a bunch of LVAW stuff when the ALTRD rails were available. If the rails get off the ground, I bet they would do more of the picatinny rails for them. I spoke to sheffield tactical and they said they are not making the rails currently but they might make some this winter when things slowed down.

Hey everyone, just relaying an update I made on the Facebook group. Gunslinger had been inactive due to catching a serious case of pneumonia and fortunately is recovered. Just this past weekend he emailed me a full scan of the handguard and key, which I have forwarded over to Sheffield Tactical. Gunslinger wanted me to let everyone know to be reassured that this project is still active and happening. Sheffield is working on it and it may be a while until the project is realized. Join the Facebook group for active updates about it and if anything comes up, I’ll update everyone here and in the group.
