I am in the process of purchasing my first suppressor and I could use some guidance.  I figured I might get a faster response here than calling Silencershop.

I just got the notification that my e-form 4 is ready to certify at my local dealer that received my suppressor transfer from Silencershop.

I read that everything needs to match with regard to your information associated with your ATF.gov account and your e-form 4.  Specifically your name, address, etc.

My ATF.gov account has my legal name (i.e.  John Q BFskinner).  However, since this is a 1-shot trust from Silencershop the name listed on the eform is the trust name (i.e. Halcyon HALXXXXX trust).

Is this an issue?  Do I need to go make a AFT.gov account in the name of my trust or can I certify the e-form 4 using my existing personal ATF account information?

That's normal, obviously if you're doing a trust form it'll list your trust name.

So make sure your name and personal info on your responsible person questionnaire matches what's in your personal eForm account.

Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply!  It didn't seem to make sense that I would need a separate account but with .gov the rules are not always exactly straightforward.

If your Silencer Shop account has a different email address than your ATF eForms account, ot causes problems with the SS Full Auto software used during certification.

Your full legal name is on that eForm as the Responsible Person.

Thank you both for your help.  Certification went through without a hitch earlier today and I got a confirmation of submission from the ATF.

Now the waiting game begins....
