I've been looking for HUB mount and flash hiders for a 300 setup from Rearden but everywhere seems to be out of stock. I came across Method Dynamics and their stuff looks quite similar in offerings and price. Anyone have any feedback on their Plan B components? I'm looking at a Plan B hub adapter, Flash Drive (equivalent to the R2S) and the Mini Drive to keep a really short SBR really short. |

I don't have experience with them, but comstock is pretty well regarded and I've had good experiences with their products. They offer some of the recessed set ups for a more compact set up. ]Banshee Defense has a variety of their items in stock if your just wanting a Plan B set up on some kind. |

This setup is intended to go between two 300BO rifles. One is 5 inch that will have a micro recessed - no problem there with either mount. The other is a 8.5" that I'd like to have a hider on instead of a brake for when I'm shooting it bare, but I agree the gap is too short with the can mounted. I could go LPA mount instead. It only adds .4" to OAL vs the recessed and the current direct thread setup. It's going to bug me on that 5" though. Another option is to see if there are other Plan B hiders that are shorter than the Comstock compact ones. Or I could just commit to never shooting bare, or buy more cans, or |

The 5" barrel has just over 1/4" (maybe .300) of clearance to the end of the handguard. The recessed will eat some of that. Looking at the Zilch now. There aren't as many measurements available on the Zilch, but with an uncalibrated eyeball, it looks to me like combining the Comstock hiders with the Zilch will get me the clearance I need to the blast baffle and look I want. |

Comstock for the win (again). Their fitment information is top notch and they list other Plan B/HUB systems off their fitment page. The Zilch/Compact combo has .05" less depth than the Comstock RPA for a .13" total to the baffles. The wolfpack would get me another .1 additional if I went that way. I'm going to order the Zilch/CA combo through Hanson Bros after I confirm the primary chamber depth on the Omega 300 |

Hansohn Bros delivered so fast, it's like they drove it here themselves. I used too much Rocksett last time so it took a while to soak the old mount off but this is the result with the recessed micro. The other rifle will be even tighter. Attached File This is my first Plan B stuff. I'm going to have to work hard to avoid swapping out all my Trifecta mounts on the other guns. |
