That's cheaper then my AR57 upper.

But 5.7x28mm needs as much velocity as it can get, you're only throwing 40 grains.

Ps90 seems to get the job done. Maybe that’s just the full auto where you get 12 at a time

And I think only Belgium issues it as a PDW for service and support troops as intended.

It would be a fun gun - but the ammo is expensive for the ballistics.

It's a cool gun and I think there's plenty of good applications but I think cracking it open to change mags would annoy me eventually.

They make a factory R50 Defender SBR for abt 200 more.   I figure 125.00 for the barrel cut (plus shipping?) and 50 for the engraving and it’s abt even, plus if you buy factory, you won’t have your engraving on the gun.

I’ve got a SBR PS90, and a SBR AR57, and just picked up a R50 Defender.  I bought this vs the 399 rifle for the pre mentioned $ reasons..

SilencerShop shows $800 ish
Other places to look?
@scottMO
I’m the type to nickle and dime things, easier to justify to myself lol so a $399 base appeals to me

All of these are the sbr version but most show incorrectly show a 16” barrel in the pics. UPC  640832009477 is the correct one for the R50 Defender.  Prices in this list vary from 547 to 800, all for the same gun.
