For some reason I've been wanting one in 22.  Since they come as a rifle Stock is already there.

Curious if anyone has done one and if they like it or not?

Seems like a strait forward process. (except making US parts)

I SBR'ed my GSG MP40P in 9mm.  But it was the pistol that I just added the stock to.  I like mine.  Biggest complaint I have is that the charging handle pops out too easily.

Nice pair.  Thompson looks nicely done!

I considered the 9mm GSG pistol for a host, but the stock sets are hard to find for that and This would be a range toy so was thinking 22 would be fine.

Thanks.  I had a hard time finding a stock for my MP40P, but found one on GB for retail price several months ago...  and then 3 weeks ago, ATI released a new batch of the MP40P stocks, so they are still making them and still releasing them.

Atlantic has them in stock now...

@jtb33

Out of curiosity for Thompsons, is it easier to SBR a pistol or rifle versiion?

Not sure how difficult it is to mod the pistol versions like TA5 to have a stock and what methods people are using vs buying a rifle and replacing the barrel.

I got the rifle version and bought a green mountain barrel for it.  Everyone that I have heard from went down that route - never heard of anyone trying to add a stock to the pistol version.

Just buy the Umarex BB gun, weight closer to the real thing vs these lower price clones.  Better quality too.  Stock folds and its full auto all for the cost of the stamp or less.

I have both the MP40 and Thompson BB machine guns, they are a lot of fun at the range.
