| Yeah, I worry a little about the aluminum receiver, but does it really matter? In another thread someone pointed out modern aluminum is probably plenty strong. AR receivers are aluminum, aluminum frame handguns, ect... seems like it should be plenty strong. I already have the 20in case hardened model and it is very smooth and worked fine the one time I took it out, although I believe it has a steel receiver... |

Picked it up today. Seems nice, not as smooth as the first one, but it was also real dry, it is better after some oil. I installed a three lug right away. I will try to shoot this week sometime. I am going to order safely delete plugs for both, and probably a barrel band with a sling swivel and an optic mount of some kind for the pistol. If it works well I will probably SBR it. It might fit it or be close enough to make it fit. |
