The best testament to camo was the following story!

My first year turkey hunting back in 2020 - it was late morning and I had not seen or heard anything.

So I went a little ways down the road and sat down off the the side.  I kind of wailed on the box call and next thing I know
three jakes were running down the road to find me...

They got to be about five yards from me and never saw me...I was just sitting with my legs crossed out in the open and my shotgun was laying next to me....

They milled around for a minute  or two and never gave me a shot...

It was surplus Multicam - head to toe what what I was waring....

I believe in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

US special forces CRF team at Fuerzas Comando 2024 don't care about your camouflage opinions

While It Is an environment where camouflage Is not relevant there Is a thing i think it's interesting. The rigs they are wearing are probably the same they use in other occasions, in the last times i have seen many SF types wearing rigs in colors that we could hardly classify "effective camouflage". And i am talking about First world special forces, not the african types with black chinese Gear. Don't know why.

I’ve seen the 7th Group guys wear a lot of different camos in competitions. They’ve put a few teams in a local SWAT competition here and some teams will have regular multicam everything, while the other teams will look like the guys in that pic. I can’t remember if it was last year or the year before at the SWAT comp, one guy had Tiger stripe Crye pants (or the knockoff variety) and a MC PC. Most of the guys are now using Sub Second belts in varying camo colors as well.
There’s probably some good pics of the 7th guys at Fuerzas as well as the SWAT comp on 7th’s Facebook page.

Two Ukraine commercially produced camouflage from 2014, "Jaba" (Toad) camo. A shop near me still has those NOS softshells, i may grab one of the desert ones for a winter jacket.

Woodland variant

Desert variant

Desert variant in the field

Ukraine "Varan" camo for Airmobile forces from the same timeframe.

Ya know, that desert camo is actually pretty good looking.

If the woodland had a touch of a darker brown in it, it wouldn't be bad either.
