Looking to have an aftermarket Green Mountain heavy taper 10/22 barrel threaded for use as a suppressor host.

Anyone have a suggested gunsmith?  There's one shop near me, but relatively expensive and they are scheduling work months out.  Probably planning to ship it out.

I've also heard that tapered profiles can make this more difficult?

Thanks all!

ADCO is the one I would use. They have been threading barrels for a great price and shipping ridiculously fast for many years now.

@bigbore

I checked out your site, not sure why Adco slipped my mind, I'll be shipping the barrel off this next week!

Do you happen to have thread protectors?  If not, I'll just find a generic one.

.5 inch of threads from muzzle to shoulder, or do you go down to .4 for rimfire?

Thanks!

Barrel is already back in my hands and looks great!

10 day turn around including shipping time from MN to OH and back.  Cheaper with shipping than a semi local shop would have done it, and they were 6 to 8 weeks out!

Now the damn ATF needs to expedite the Form 4 trust approvals

I just went through this. Have a 16" bull barrel. Couple local gun shops would thread it but the threads would be over .400. Said I would have to find a wider protector or use a washer as a spacer to cover all the threads. Decided to just replace barrel with threaded one.

ADCO do you cut and thread tapered Ruger 10/22 barrels? Looking to get a 18" tapered barrel cut to 8" and threaded.

Adco I would like to know if you can thread a 10/22 bull barrel with no more than .400 from shoulder to end of barrel. Thanks
