Just ordered the SDS SAX-2 from Atlantic, and also the aftermarket collapsible stock and mag tube I sold my real Benelli M4 awhile back because i just couldn't justify a $2k shotgun i used infrequently However this looks like a solid little rig for a much more comfortable price  |

I just got my "SDS Radikal SAX2" in from Classic Firearms. (Ordered on the 12th) I thought the stock on these unscrewed(once the trigger group is out, of course). Mine just seems to turn without unscrewing... never feels loose, never seems to make even a gap between the stock and receiver. |
| I grabbed one of the Panzer M4's from Classic as soon as they emailed the sale notice. Now I grabbed a second version from GB (The SAX2) for $599 shipped. Maybe I'll SBS one or just keep one at each house but you can't beat them for the price which I imagine will go up seeing how fast these are moving. Thanks for the tip on the collapsible stock from Kiwiland. I have one ordered. |

The fixed OEM stock is not the same as the Benelli. There's a bolt under the buttpad that holds the stock onto the recoil tube. Unscrew the two screws in the rubber to expose it. Tighten as necessary.

My T4's action was not smooth at all. It would actually hang up in spots. I took it apart, lubed it, and worked the shit out of it. It got better but was still not great. I worked the action slowly to see if I could figure out where it was binding. I suspected the recoil tube. I took it back apart, squirted some oil on the face of the plunger. I re-assembled it and worked the action a bunch of times to get the oil in there and now it is really smooth. No more hang ups. When I took it apart I removed the gas plugs. I had a hard time getting one of them out. The assembler damaged the o-ring when he installed it and there were pieces of the o-ring stuck in the threads. I cleaned it up, put one of the spare o-rings on it and carefully put it back together. You might want to check your o-rings. |

Also check the pins to make sure they are properly set in the barrel chamber area. Those can be loose and not staked properly. Mine was loose. I tightened it down and it was crooked. Got to the range to break mine in today. Cleaned it when I got home. With it broken down, I noticed that the notches in the barrel made for the pistons to clear look as if someone at the factory went in with a dremel to open them up a bit more or make some "corrections". They could stand some smoothing out and maybe even a little more opening since one seems to drag slightly when worked back and forth by hand. |

So got my Panzer M4 on the 5th. Didn't bother taking it apart or cleaning cleaning. Put 4 rounds of some old quail load through it just to test fire it. Ran awesome. Hadn't taken it back out for a few weeks. Did yesterday and today both with old quail loads again. Feeding issues the whole time. Consistently round fired, and then wouldn't load next one. Not gonna lie, a little disappointing. Granted maybe should have cleaned and lubed it first, though I usually buy guns that run out of the box. Also maybe have been the ammo, but from the reviews I had read it looked like it would feed a pretty wide variety of loads. Was hoping it would feed light loads so I could use it as a blaster. Guess I'll clean it, lube it, and put a few buckshot through it. |

At least that’s what everyone says you have to do. |
I'm no holster sniffer but if someone burned down the town garage and threw canned corn at the snow plow guys I'd drop off a case of beer at the DPW. ~Aimless

I’ve always guessed that all of the clone M4s were made by the same company but sold under different names ( Toros Copolla, Toros 4 Peaks, Panzer, Radikal, SDS, Charles Daly, etc......) have we actually been able to confirm this as of yet? My gun is a Toros Copolla T4 ( no 4 Peaks) and I can’t be happier with mine. I broke over 500 rounds this weekend using both full load and low recoil LEO loads 00 Buck. I’ve also fired slugs as well and I have yet to have any type of malfunction. This gun runs perfectly and it’s action is as smooth as silk !! The only QC issue I could complain about was my front sight nut needed to be tightened down. 922r Compliant and she’s a beaut!!!   Does anyone else here own just the Toros Copolla T4 ? I have heard anyone mention it without it having the 4 Peaks as part of the description. |

I don’t think it will fit. The factory 5 shot tube is an inch different in length than a Benelli tube I believe someone posted. So it won’t line up for the magazine tube cap. |

If you have the other compliance parts I guess you would be alright. You would need three US made parts if keeping a one piece pistol grip stock and four us parts with a pistol grip retracting stock. |

Does this design soften up on recoil as it breaks in? My buddy and I took ours out for the first time yesterday and after 2-3 shells we weren’t sure if we really wanted to shoot them anymore and that was only with hotter 2-3/4” #4s. After about 50 shells we either got used to it or they were softening up because it didn’t seem quite as bad. Also the Mesa Tactical stock was beating the crap out of my cheek until I removed the riser. On a good note it seems to be breaking in, I was shooting a mix of junk 12ga and had a number of failures to extract which lessened the more I shot. |

| After reading this thread i bought a Charles Daly 601.I am not a fan of the pistol grips so i am going to order a field stock for it.I am assuming from reading thru this thread that the Sulun tac-12 field stock will work but i am unsure what recoil tube i need.Any help would be appreciated Thanks Jake |

They bolt on from the back just like the pistol grip stock. You only need to worry about the recoil tube if you want to mess with the Sulun adjustable stock, Benelli fixed stocks, the Benelli adjustable stock, or the Mesa Tactical fixed stock. |

I went ahead and tried it on my panzer and it seemed to fit fine except for I screwed up the little clinch pin retaining ring thing that holds the screw nut in the buffer tube cap so it kept spinning when it shouldn't. |
