Gents, I read with pleasure the thread on Best Shootable Transferrable MG's It got me wanting to build a similar list, but for 07/02 post-samples and Title 1 host guns. I've got a running list so far, but would love to hear your opinions: -M16/AR low shelf with DIAS -HK with registered trigger pack - MP5/G3/HK21, etc -M1919 with registered bolt -M2HB with registered bolt -M249S with registered bolt I've seen a DIAS for AK models made by Armament USA. Don't have first hand experience with it, nor do I know anybody personally yet who does either. What other good ones are out there? Belt fed, sub gun, rifle, whatever. Thanks! |

Great list so far! AUG is fun and also easy to do with a surplus military stock. The cheap parts kits seem to have dried up though.  Steyr AUG HBAR firing bursts I also love the RPD. My example is an original Polish one, but I think you can convert a semi-auto receiver using a modified original lower and a bolt carrier group relieved to clear the block. If you want something less expensive then get a Lima Six upper. |

I need a belt fed post sample and looking where to go Any UK-59 kits still floating around? Those are a wild ride and a very unique belt fed. I did a semi but I'm only ~$2k into it. Barrel was something like $600 and kit around $1200. Got some good deals on belts and cans for $40 for a belt and a can. |
