So, I have 8 or so SilencerCo ASR mounts for my Hybrid 46. Love the mounts, but the included shims suck. It always seems like the barrel is a smaller ID than the shims, and when you torque the muzzle device, it deforms the shims. For one of my rifles I had my machinist buddy make me up a nice thick shim that was timed perfectly; but I need several more for various caliber barrels.
What are y'all using? Am I weird here, or is this an issue for you guys too?? |

Surefire shims sit flush and don’t overhang. My Griffin muzzle device just delivered today, but haven’t had the chance to see what they look like.

Precision armament accu washers sound like what you’re looking for. I’ve used them to time some of my muzzle breaks and they work great.
