The relevant stickies on the top of the page are from 2017. The DVR that we have attached to 8 cameras (Lorex aka FLIR) died. New ones are not cheap and don't get good reviews. I am considering a dedicated PC-based DVR. A friend recommended Blue Iris. I run an unraid server but I'd likely want something stand-alone, that can record 8 4k cameras 24/7, handle AI-driven motion detection, and then back up the data periodically to the unraid server. Not sure where to start. Comments welcome. Thanks. |
