Spend that money! CENTERFIRE SYSTEMS  Update from Marcolmar: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MARCOLMAR! Today I delivered folded and serialized CETME L receivers to Centerfire, along with magwell inserts, rear trunnions, complete milled lowers with selector, picatinny rails, and new rubber buttpads. They will be listed next week. Now to the important part... the last shipment had approximately 58 folded and serialized L receivers which sold almost instantly. (EDIT: I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE FULLY WELDED, PAINTED AND BUILT RECEIVERS HERE, JUST THE BENT / SERIALIZED FLAT AS PICTURED) Well I know why... I totally messed up the price of those for Centerfire. I left out our lasering cost, and our materials cost in my spreadsheet. In addition those receivers were stamped over 2 years ago, so way below current costs of steel and stamping. Our new shipment is with the new materials cost, stamping cost, lasering, and our cost to bend and serialize. So to the 58 people who bought, you got a fantastic deal and you have a savvy eye. Not upset about it, except with myself for causing the issue. So please don't get mad at Centerfire, or really MarColMar... you can be mad at me for me screwing up my spreadsheet and costs. I’m definitely in for one of these. A CETME LC SBR is one of my grail guns. Had a Marcolmar CETME L and was quite fond of shooting it but sold it on a whim since what I really wanted was an LC. Thanks! BTW, I doubt I would have the time to commit to building this myself, are there any gunsmiths building these out into complete rifles currently? |

Seems like the method Century uses to let the kits trickle out slowly to control supply and higher demand - Hopefully there will be more kits (unlike the Sig 543 kits I missed out on) I got two kits on the first round and they are in really nice shape. I am not really into these, but at that price with original barrels hard to beat and the barrels were clean and sharp. Not worn too bad at all. |

Im busy searching all the doodads to make it 922(r). Found a U.S. made disconnector. Mjolnir Arms, stock said theres 13. I got one. Also in the FAL build days a U.S. mag, floor plate, and follower is 3 parts toward 922(r) I believe you need 7. These will run with a AR mag. I saw a guy modify the feed lips to make it run better. Marcolmar seems to be the place but doesnt state if their new stocks are U.S. made. Also they need to sell just the grip, and foregrip for the carbine guys. I will switch my fore grip style to the newer one they sell with the exposed heat shield to add a U.S. part. If you care about the 922(r) thing  |

Does anyone happen to know what the color Olive Drab the metal is for a rattle can match? I'd be almost certain RAPCO has a color match but which one is closest. I bought around 20 CETME L mags from APEX. They are really nice. Some have barely been used. Just an FYI if you want original mags. Most don't even need cleaning. |

I accidentally posted this in another Cetme thread. I’m not really a parts kit guy but I thought this was a cool looking rifle. Got the kit today and it looks in great shape. What are my next steps? Buy a receiver? Then register it sbr? Then find someone to finish it? Would that same person modify the trigger pack for semi auto? |

At the moment they seem to be selling off what was already existing inventory of 100% receivers. Marcomar also sold replacement semi auto trigger pack kits and flats to bend your own receiver - but Centerfire hasn't started this yet - so you might need to wait and see what options for support Centerfire Systems may add OR if you are willing to DIY -research some old threads on AR15.com and Weapons guild on building a kit - some builders documented the process a while ago but some were with different brand flats/receivers so note that. The trigger pack evidently was not too bad to modify - on the thread in the HK section here someone posted a link to the old In range build videos you could download and study. Looks like in range used a Dremel but I haven't done one so don't know truly how easy. |

Wonder what they are planning for the selector on the U.S. lower? You had to send in your selector to Marcolmar when you bought the lower, and receiver before, so they could machine down the selector to fit the smaller hole. Maybe drill the hole out? The FA parts are gone and cant be added to the new lower. I think it would be like the FAL selector. It moves but doesnt change anything. |

Damn thing came off with my hand. Was barely tight. It has a split lock washer behind it. I will get a pic of it. |
