Hey I can't find this info, annoyingly not listed on CZ website. The 5.56 Bren 2Ms is 1/2x28. What threading is the 7.62x39 variant?

I didn't think you could thread a .30 barrel 1/2x28, plus a 1/2x28 dead air brake has a .223 hole so that wont work on a 7.62...

That information is in the bren 2 thread.

That reason you posted and the fact that keymo is heavy AF and adds a considerable amount of length is why I switched over to Griffin Plan A.

You could easily bore out a 1/2x28 556 muzzle device to .30cal tho

I have a 5.56 Dead air flash hider and its a .22 hole down the prongs, the brake I have is a 5/8 and has a .30 hole. You are saying the 1/2x28 brake has a .30 hole?

Im not saying every one on earth does but they for sure make them. So does Rugged and SilencerCo .And i remember seeing Q say on Instragram that the Cherry bomb in 1/2x28 should be .30cal now.

Good to know, I think due to the stupid mags I will stay away from 7.62 Bren for now, but I hope someone makes an AK mag lower then I would drop everything and buy one.

Ordered mine through Witt machine, not on their Line up of muzzle devices(1/2x28...30cal), .but they can custom make one for you.

I thought the mags were stupid too, until i got one. They are excellent. Would take them any day over AK mags

For real. Ak mags would have been a massive mistake. They're dated as fuck.

https://www.capitolarmory.com/dead-air-key-mount-muzzle-brake.html

The Keymount Muzzle Brake is your gateway to silence. When you’re ready for peace and quiet use the Keymount brake to quickly attach your Sandman-L™, Sandman-S™, or Sandman-K™ to your rifle. If you’re not quite ready to turn up the silence, you can still employ the finest brake on the market and experience a flatter shooting rifle with minimal concussion compared to traditional muzzle brakes. The 5/8x24 muzzle brake does not have the pin & weld stand-off. The 1/2x28 muzzle brake has a 30 caliber aperture and works on .223 - .30 caliber rifles.

Good to know, but on a short barrel I want a FH not a brake and it seems the 1/2x28 FH is a .22 hole. Too bad.
