The reset problem is probably a combination of no shim and crud buildup. It might reset better with a good cleaning but it's clear from looking in there that a shim will help keep that spring located properly. Good to know. I didn't mess with it any further that day. | So I put everything back together the other day and the trigger is now resetting again correctly. I think it was because it was so dirty inside and the fact that the hammer spring leg slipped out and was no longer under the HBI trigger spring. I will hold off on contacting HBI for that shim as it seems to be fine without it. |

I purchased the MP5 stock and adapter from HBI, now just waiting on my paperwork to put it together. I wonder if it would be possible to make the Scorpion look more like an MP5? Maybe a tapered handguard? The HBI adapter has excellent build quality and looks like it belongs on the Scorpion. I highly recommend any and all HBI products based on my experience so far. |

FWIW 20rounders use the same spring of the 30s. As mentioned above Evo mags are usually cheap.. You can usually find 20rounder even cheaper than 30 and remove the springs |

Okay I am wondering if the polymer HBI Pakse Sapper 6.4″ MLOK Handguard is good or if I should go with an Aluminum set of handguards. Currently I still have the original version on my gun but I just upgraded it with a Timney V2 trigger, Reptilia LINK™ FOR CZ® SCORPION EVO W/ MAGPUL® ZHUKOV STOCK, Magpul magazine release, Plan B Rearden R2S, and I am debating on doing a 2.26 Unity with a T1 in there or a 1.7 mount that I have on hand. I also have an AEMs but I find the AEMS blurry with my astigmatism compared to a T1/T2, Romeo 4/5, Comp M4, or a Primary arms GLX MD-21. I am also looking at sights, Would a 2.26 mount work with this because when I was using a UMP40 having the reddot at 1.93 was optimal because it was not the same as for a M4, or is it a low mount or 1.57 mount better? I really like the Irons and was using those when I did not have decent red dot. I am repurposing my Steiner MOR IR for the gun. I was wondering if I was going to use it again. Thanks. |

I would not recommend the Paske, seen a number of issues with the charging handle channels being a bit too tight. Go with a good aluminum forend, we are pretty much out of the EVO forend game, but I can recommend the ones from HB Industries- they make good stuff. Sven Manticore Arms |

| I have a Pakse sapper on my S1, but I want to just go back to the oem handguard for the original look. What all do I need to do to revert it? I vaguely recall a barrel nut with an insane amount of loctite that doesn't get used with the Pakse, but I'm not totally sure. |

All you need is to unscrew the barrel nut replace the hg and reinstall the nut |

I recently took the Scorpion to the range, and after about 20 shots the trigger wouldn't reset. If I put it on "safe" and then back to "fire", the trigger would reset and I could fire one shot. It's the HBI trigger upgrade. The nuclear option would be to buy the full Timney trigger but I'm not sure I want to go that route. |

I just used a wrench and cranked the barrel nut on, but the angled front makes it hard to get purchase. Hopefully it doesn’t back off under fire. |

I remember having to clearance a tiny bit of plastic out of the trigger pocket/hole to cure the reset problem. It rubbed on the shoe ever so slightly. Mine had the welded screw trigger pack(world edition?) Maybe worth a look. |
