I'd like to put this upright some molle, and it only came with a nylon belt sheath. Extreme Edge Custom Kydex took several hundred dollars for this and several others and then disappeared- total fraud and scam. Any reputable recommendations plz? |

Cool deal. I'll start playing around with it in a couple of days when I get some time in the shop. The only issue I'm seeing right now is that the only features to "grab" with the kydex are holes in the knife, which will work well for retention but they will cause the sheath to drag on the blade as it slides past that feature on the sheath. |

Getting started here.. Attached File General thoughts on this project so far. -"grabbing" the knife without a spot on the sheath dragging on the whole blade isn't very easy but I think I have it figured out well enough. - I might have a slight concern that it's possible to shove the knife too far into the sheath because there's no features to stop it. The front edge of the handle scales is usually what does this. I'll probably put a couple extra eyelets in close to the drain channel to keep this to a minimum. - hole spacing worked out where it will straddle a whole column or just fit into 2 columns if it's attached with zip-ties. It's 3 rows tall. |
