Calling all Cerakote applicator / mixologists.

I really dig this color, any idea what color mix?

It’s a special edition color through Freedom Trading Co.

They call it Apollo grey.

ADM uses bull shark grey but this is a bit darker.

Bull shark grey:

Could it be bull shark grey darkened up?

Could be bull shark with black added. Could even be white with black added. The pic shows hints of yellow…but that could be monitor settings. That last bit makes guessing hard! The color looks different on my computer when compared to my phone.

Also, the same advertised color in a different close-up listing photo appears much cooler in tone and flatter. Matching this, I’d start with Stormtrooper White and Armor Black. Maybe a few drops of something tan.

Excellent! Thank you for the insight, it gives me a starting point.

I’m after a flat medium gray with no blue hue's and a slight tan hint. I don’t mind just a bit of metallic but want a super flat finish.

None of the Cerakote grays really do it for me, so now Im going down the mixology rabbit hole.

I like the disruptive grey, It’s just a little darker than what I’m after.
