| It's short, and shortening the baffled length costs a little performance. It loses volume that would otherwise be in the can, which loses some performance. It provides no wrench flats for tightening the device to a barrel, so you have to use the spanner which kind of isn't as great for getting torque on the device. Because it is recessed it saves some weight. |
