Today 6/6/2024 online, palmetto state armory, $2999.99

Wonder if they are blowing these out to make way for the repeater?

That would be a safe bet but I'm not so sure the mag version will fly off the shelves.

Not that I had $3k to spare, but that's a good price... and they're sold-out.

Yes...a few weeks ago.  Pricey though.

Just looked. Interesting. Kind of surprises me. PSA has been blowing out Armalite for a while so I'm not sure what's going on. They seem to have been pretty subdued after getting bought out years ago.

That was a fantastic deal, I was eyeing it. I figured it was time for that .50 that I've wanted since I was 16, and was all set to buy the AR-50A1 when my wife twisted my arm (as if it took much) to just get the Barrett that I had really been drooling over all these years. So much for the deal!

First time .50 shooter/owner and I am still giddy over it.

The 82A1 29" of course, go all the way or not at all, right?

I've had an itch for a while to play with bigger rifles since getting a 9.3x62 and having so much fun with it. Until now that was the most powerful cartridge I've shot. I'd been saying for a while, "You know I was tempted to get a [insert some shoulder breaker] but for the price of ammo I might as well just go right to a fifty."

So, yeah.
